What makes Realize Physical Therapy different?

At Realize Physical Therapy, we understand how frustrating it is to chase symptoms without real answers. That’s why we use the Neural Fascial Systems approach—developed by Dr. Robert Blomquist—to pinpoint the exact source of your pain, tightness, or weakness. It might be tight connective tissue, stuck nerves, or a movement habit that’s not working. We figure it out and treat it with expert care.

This means:

💡 No guesswork—just targeted care based on what your body truly needs
⚡ Faster results—many patients feel meaningful change after their very first visit
🧠 A smarter path to healing—grounded in science, tailored to you

If you’ve tried other therapies without lasting relief, it’s time for something different. Schedule your introductory assessment and let’s uncover what’s really going on—so you can move, heal, and thrive.

What is the Neural Fascial Systems approach?

The Neural Fascial Systems (NFS) approach looks at the body as an interconnected network—not separate parts. It considers how your musculoskeletal, neural, visceral, limbic, lymphatic, and cardiovascular systems all work together, and how the fascia—the body’s continuous connective tissue web—links them.

Fascial tissues are rich in sensory receptors that provide constant feedback (proprioception) to your nervous system. This input shapes how your body moves and how your muscles function. In the NFS approach, healthy movement isn’t about individual muscles pulling bones like levers—it’s about tensioning the fascial system as a whole to create efficient, coordinated motion.

By restoring balance and communication across these systems, the NFS approach supports better movement, improved muscle performance, and long‑term resilience. Schedule your session today to see how the NFS approach rapidly restores movement and alleviates pain.

Do I need a referral to see a therapist?

In Idaho, you have direct access to physical therapy. That means you can schedule your appointment at Realize Physical Therapy without needing a referral—no extra steps, no waiting.

Just one thing to keep in mind: while most patients can begin treatment right away, some private insurance plans may require a referral to use out-of-network benefits. We’re happy to help you navigate that if needed.

So if you're ready to take the first step toward lasting relief, we’re ready to chat.

Do you take my insurance?

At Realize Physical Therapy, we’re a non-participating provider with most insurance companies. That means we’re not bound by the limitations insurance networks often impose—so your care is guided by what’s best for your body, not by what’s approved on a spreadsheet.

You can still use your out-of-network benefits with most private insurance plans, and we’ll make the process as smooth as possible. We’ll provide all the documentation and guidance you need to seek reimbursement, so you can focus on healing—not paperwork.

This approach means:

🧭 Individualize careEvery treatment plan is built around your goals—not insurance restrictions.
No waiting games. You get targeted care without delays or detours because you're waiting on insurance.
🧬 Science over red tape. We prioritize evidence-based therapy, not billing codes.

If you’re ready for care that’s driven by expertise—not bureaucracy—we’re here to help. Schedule an introductory session or contact us if you have more questions.

Do you take Medicare?

At Realize Physical Therapy, we specialize in a unique, science-driven method of care, part of which is not currently reimbursable under Medicare. We also have no relationship with Medicare. As a result we are unable to provide any services that qualify Medicare benefits. If you're a Medicare beneficiary and prefer to use your insurance for treatment, we can refer you to trusted clinics that offer covered services.

While these clinics do not use the Neural Fascial Systems approach, they do provide conventional physical therapy care that would be eligible for reimbursement.

Our goal is to help you find the path that best supports your healing—whether that’s with us or through a provider in your network. Let us know if you have further questions.

What should I expect during my sessions?

Your session begins with a detailed assessment of posture, movement, and strength to identify the root causes of dysfunction. Based on what we find, treatment may include:

🩹 Pain management strategies to reduce pain and calm irritated tissues
👐 Hands-on techniques to restore mobility and improve muscle activation
🧠 Targeted exercises to retrain movement, posture, and stabilization

You’ll also receive personalized homework to reinforce progress between visits. Each session is designed to focus on what can’t be done effectively at home—so your time in the clinic delivers maximum impact. That means faster results, fewer sessions, and care that’s more efficient than traditional physical therapy.
